Our client, a leading chemical company, is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a go-getter attitude.

1) Support research chemists during process development to ensure regulatory compliance issues are identified during process development
2) Prepare profile of anticipated waste streams and suggest alternatives to minimize waste costs
3) Work with waste contractors for final disposition
4) Support plant operations to ensure regulatory requirements are met in a cost-effective manner
5) Support improvements and optimization of processes in production
6) Participate in the design of new equipment installations through application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to ongoing production
7) Assist Process Hazards Analyses (PHA), process reviews, and change control with hazard review
8) Collaborate with QA Manager in application of cGMP processes in the plant
9) Work directly with the DEQ, EPA, OSHA and other regulatory agencies as the point person for permits, inspections etc.
10) Work with chemists and engineers
11) Ensure that all processes are safe and contain no surprises when moved to larger equipment
12) Perform studies on new processes to determine where critical safety issues may arise if operators deviate or equipment doesn’t perform as specified on the batch records


  • 1) A university degree is required (preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the chemical industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to people with recent experience in regulatory affairs management
