A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding R&D Project Manager role. Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:

1) Ensure execution of critical path planning, cost/benefit analyses, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, scope management, and quality control/assurance
2) Oversee cross functional, multi-discipline project teams working with both in-house stakeholders and external engineers
3) Manage multiple local contractors to complete work in the facility which includes managing quality, scope, budget, risks, timelines and satisfactory completion of work
4) Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing EHS&S procedures and GMP regulations
5) Secure proposals from contractor/suppliers by preparing Request for Proposals
6) Assist in the procurement, submittal review, factory acceptance, installation, start-up and site acceptance of equipment
7) Track project progress, including financials, schedule, resource constraints, risks and contract status
8) Prepare and present project status reports
9) Support QA/Validation Department by preparing design documents, turnover packages and assist in protocol execution
10) Maintain controlled facility and system drawings to reflect project updates
11) Write and review SOPs for equipment and systems throughout the facility
12) Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations (e.g. OSHA, FDA, MHRA, EPA)


  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in project management
