JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the pharmaceutical industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Quality Control Associate to their team:

1) Prepare and maintain SOPs
2) Train management and employees on applicable SOPs as they are updated
3) Conduct internal audits and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with SOP guidelines
4) Perform environmental monitoring and ensure storage conditions are being followed
5) Perform quality control checks on all required data and processes within the facility
6) Assist in regulatory inspections and customer audits as required
7) Assist in validating equipment, processes and products
8) Maintain vendor qualification program to ensure GMP compliance
9) Assist Quality Assurance Manager in CAPA and deviation investigations and reporting of non-conformances
10) Assist in gap analysis and recommend solutions
11) Work closely with Quality Assurance Manager to achieve departmental goals and initiatives
12) Stay current with new GMP legislation, FDA Guidance and other industry policies that could affect our business

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality control
