1) Be accountable for the operation of the Toxicology Department in accordance with strategic and operating plans, including operational management at the employee, administrative and technical levels
2) Ensure strong, positive employee relations, excellence and quality, efficient utilization of resources and budget implementation
3) Foster a culture of quality and internal and external customer service by developing and initiating programs and policies that consistently promote service, quality and customer satisfaction
4) Work very closely with employees and colleagues
5) Develop, maintain and foster an environment of positive employee relations, trust, open communication and strong teamwork providing managerial leadership to direct reports through effective staffing, training, performance evaluation, coaching and recognition
6) Recommend, implement and monitor departmental procedures, policies and standards with a focus on continuous improvement that aligns with function and company objectives
7) Manage the departmental business planning and goal development process, including developing and executing and one-year business plan
8) Manage compliance, collection, preparation, and analysis of departmental reports and statistics
9) Oversee the scientific and technical functioning of the department
10) Ensure appropriate methodology and equipment is in place and assist in developing new methods or changes in existing methods
11) Be accountable for monitoring a quality control programs as per established guidelines
12) Review and interpret QC results, act to correct any potential violations and recommend corrective action where appropriate


  • 1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
    2) Recent experience in the pharmaceuticals industry is strongly preferred
    3) Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in Toxicology Management
