JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading healthcare company, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager with solid sales management experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:

1) Accomplish regional sales' human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees in assigned districts
2) Communicate job expectations and plan, monitor, appraise and review job contributions
3) Achieve regional sales' operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
4) Meet financial objectives of regional sales by forecasting requirements
5) Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
6) Maintain and expand customer base by counseling district sales representatives
7) Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities and product, packaging and service changes
8) Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking and evaluating trade spending
9) Accomplish sales' and organization's mission by achieving related results as needed
10) Perform other duties as assigned

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
