JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Provide leadership on developing software systems, including factory automation, predictive analytics and workflow automation
2) Utilize structured problem solving methods, including root cause analysis, risk assessment, prioritization and resolution of issues to solve technical issues
3) Boost business acumen and collaborative requirements generation and validation processes by using design for Six Sigma methods and tools
4) Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development to meet business objectives
5) Help and give direction in technical reviews, discussions and technology demonstrations
6) Create effective project performance management system and drive standard work within the organization
7) Ensure common project management practices and successful execution across projects
8) Analyze risks and issues in advance and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions
9) Conduct various programs/projects securing performance as per project goals
10) Manage external and internal stakeholders and guide the project teams to execute projects and programs effectively and improve delivery performance
11) Cooperate, challenge and contribute accountability with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to the business
12) Develop strong relationships with global stakeholders, business unit leads and department heads
13) Maintain a strong focus on building and sustaining world-class information systems
14) Work closely with quality organizations to drive compliance with quality policies and processes and meet company’s quality standards

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in engineering management
