JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Objective: Working within the service and repair strategic plan, the Service Operations Manager will work to develop and maintain service business processes and metrics, the service management system software, project management and service supply chain planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Aligns and coordinates with GIS organization to deliver and maintain integrated service software infrastructure systems. 2.Delivers world class infrastructure solutions for supporting customers globally. 3.Develops innovative ways to improve customer loyalty. 4.Manages global service and repair metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. 5.Strong technical acumen to perform business data analysis and reporting 6.Coordinates data mining requests and provides precise analytics. 7.Manages and organizes training for new products and systems. 8.Manages Service and Repair related projects from project initiation to completion providing cost benefit analyses and project updates. 9.Develops and implements process improvement programs to streamline global internal and external processes and procedures to improve our customer experience. 10.Analyze root cause Service and Repair issues to determine gaps and put in place corrective and preventive actions. 11.Manages cross-functional initiatives and projects to support the service and repair organizational goals 12.Manages and directs the activities of all service operations employees within the assigned area of responsibility. 13.Travel up to 15% Incidental Duties: The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, project management, or engineering/science required. 5 years of related experience in engineering, information technology, customer service, or operations with management responsibilities required 5+ years experience in a highly regulated environment preferred. 5+ years people management experience preferred. PMP and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results. Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication. Travel required. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC and various and specialized software. High efficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
