JOB DESCRIPTION
Partial Job Description
1) Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products and reduce costs using knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods, production equipment and quality control standards
2) Lead and plan kaizen events
3) Provide technical expertise or support related to quality and manufacturing
4) Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in processing methods
5) Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations
6) Train personnel in new or existing methods while maintaining compliance with company standards and policies
7) Develop and execute standardized work with visual control and management
8) Develop and modify training curriculum to align with business requirements
9) Conduct lean/six sigma and manufacturing projects within current QSR and ISO processes and be fully cognizant of safety and regulatory requirements
10) Review all activities for compliance with engineering principles, best practices, company standards, customer contracts and related specifications
11) Establish metrics for lean activities and events
12) Ensure tracking and reporting on all event results
13) Communicate manufacturing capabilities or other information to facilitate production processes
14) Setup, track and document results as required
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications / Skills Required
1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in Production
