APPLICATIONS AND REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

Genovis AB is a Lund, Sweden based manufacturer of unique enzymes for rapid characterization of antibody based Biotherapeutics; i.e., monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), Fc-fusion proteins, and biosimilars. New additions to our portfolio targets O-glycosylation and are used within biopharma industry as well as academia for protein characterization. The SmartEnzymes™ portfolio are the enzymes of choice by all Biotherapeutics manufacturers and developers and are in use worldwide. Genovis enzymes have been cited in over 100 publications.

Overview:

Genovis is seeking a West Coast based Application Marketing Manager, located in San Francisco Bay Area or Southern California, responsible for application development, seminar presentations, technical support and site visits to customers located in the eleven Western states. The candidate will be part of an integrated national team of Genovis, Inc. based in Cambridge, MA, with direct communication to the senior management team in Lund. Genovis is a dynamic, flat organization with short routes to decisions. Applicants should enjoy promoting ideas and initiatives internally and be self-driven in execution of strategies and plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Technical Seminars at key accounts in the Region
  • Provide technical support and product training at Customer Site
  • Introduce new products and provide customer feedback to management
  • Develop and Implement key account strategies to increase sales

Qualifications:

  • MS/PhD in Chemistry or Life Science related degree preferred with 2-5 years’ experience
  • Experience with LC/MS instrumentation and applications
  • Understanding and expertise with high resolution mass spectrometry of proteins
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Ability to work independently
