JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the biotechnology industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Junior Business Development Specialist to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Demonstrate and promote the company’s vision
2) Develop existing and new clients to expand and grow the company’s business globally
3) Create and apply sales strategy to recognize and establish new and existing clients for allotted client base and territory
4) Organize and report on sales pipeline for assigned clients and territory
5) Identify strengths and weaknesses of pipeline and develop and communicate action plans to the Senior Management
6) Develop new clients not previously identified
7) Generate and execute business plans by client and territory to meet objectives
8) Communicate sales strategy, success and failure of strategy to the Senior Management Team on a daily basis and make recommended adjustments
9) Document and track key metrics for sales activities in the CRM database
10) Analyze and report performance on a monthly basis to the Senior Management Team
11) Make action plans and adjust performance as per KPI
12) Define contract terms to achieve client and business requirements
13) Collaborate with the Internal Marketing Team to develop sales strategy and marketing plans
14) Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
15) Perform other duties as assigned

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in business development
