JOB DESCRIPTION

NeoCoil, LLC is a leader in MRI coils and imaging accessories designed for better patient comfort and experience.  Our focus, through innovation and precision, is to engineer and manufacture the highest quality coils and accessories for the medical industry.  Due to our growth and continued success, we are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. 

This position will be an integral part of a medical device product development/sustaining team.  You will collaboratively guide the team in a manner that incorporates quality principles into the everyday work activities and output of the team.  Having a solid understanding of applicable regulations (i.e. CFR and ISO 13485), you will provide quality engineering expertise for project teams.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute quality assurance activities related to equipment/fixture/process/product verification and validation, quality improvement, product and process risk management and corrective and preventive action. 
  • Approve design output to ensure compliance and that quality objectives are met.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Required Experience and Qualifications:


              
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a regulated industry (preferably medical device), including in-depth experience with risk management, verification/validation and product development of Class II or Class III medical devices.

    •         
    • A leader that possesses critical thinking and problem solving skills, the ability to understand the Big Picture and fosters the development of these skills in others.

    •         
    • Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining optimal results.

    •         
    • Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and promotes a collaborative environment.
