JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer who is a strong engineer, and a team player to support our existing products and develop engineering concepts into viable products.  Working individually, within a project team, designs and develops new products and supports existing products.  Must have comprehensive knowledge of electrical, electronic and software development. Experience in designing digital hardware using 8 to 32 bit microprocessors (Atmel, Microchip) and Digital Signal Processors(TI) and experience using Altium or PADS  CAD tools for multilayer PCB design ideal.  Expertise in programming in ANSI C, in using Real Time Operating Systems, experience with software development under an IEC-62304 Life Cycle Process and experience in designing for medical electrical safety and EMC requirements per IEC-60601 a plus.  A BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 2-3 years electrical engineering experience required.
